Ex-HELLOWEEN Singer MICHAEL KISKE Shopping Around For New Record Deal
April 1, 2004Former HELLOWEEN frontman Michael Kiske has recorded 10 new songs and is currently shopping around for a record deal.
In other news, more information has surfaced regarding Kiske's guest appearance on the debut album from the Brazilian band THALION. Michael will record lead vocals for the orchestra ballad "The Encounter" as a duet with THALION vocalist Alexandra.
Commented THALION mainman Rodrigo Vinhas: "I wanted Michael Kiske because in first place I am a great admirer of his work, as vocalist as well as a composer. Beside his unique voice, which contributed somehow to my decision to become a musician, I think that there cannot be any bigger satisfaction than to have a person, who had a strong influence on me, sing on a song I composed."
A conceptual CD, "Another Sun", will be mixed by Philip Colodetti (SHAMAN, KAMELOT, RHAPSODY) and will feature additional appearances by Fabio Ribeiro (SHAMAN),Fabio Laguna (ANGRA) and Miro (KAMELOT, AINA). Cover art was handled by Isabel de Amorin (ANGRA, ADAGIO, VANDEN PLAS). A late summer release through Hellion Records is expected.
